The product came in a clamshell packaging, which provided decent protection during shipping. Accu Recharge Universal CHFC3 is Energizer's only battery charger that supports 9V rechargeable cells. Besides PP3 (9V), you can pop in and charge most sizes of Ni-MH batteries, such as AAA, AA, C, and D.
It's worth noting that the Energizer CHFC3 charger is universal (compatible with AC 100~240V at 50/60Hz). It comes with a detachable AC power cable (1.7m). Although the four bay springs are not very tight, they hold all batteries (small or large) in place. The sliding contacts seem durable and strong.
The charger weighs 285g and measures 200 x 107 x 55 mm. It has zero-watt consumption in stand-by mode. It has two independent charge channels and requires the batteries (AAA, AA, C, D) to be placed in pairs. Each 9V charging bay operates independently, allowing for a mix of capacities at the same time. I tested its functions, charging compatibility, power consumption, and it met its specifications.
